A team from NY Highways attended the Highways Awards 2023 on 11 October after being shortlisted in two categories – the Steve Berry Highways Authority Innovation Award and the Environmental Sustainability Award.
Both awards recognised NY Highways’ work with Connected Enviro Net and Pye Management on the development of a carbon counting tool which measures the amount of carbon used in road maintenance works.
We came away empty-handed but the event offered the opportunity to catch up with current collaborators and old friends.
